The Right Match

It is essential for all involved, to consider the collaboration of parent, student and tutor. When we meet initially, this will be an opportunity to ensure that expectations and perspectives align. 

Getting the Picture

It is important to get as full a profile as possible. In order to do this I like to speak to parents and have some time to talk with the student too. The following are not absolutely necessary, but are hugely useful in making a faster assessment:

• School reports
• Test results
• Educational reports eg: dyslexia, ADHD etc.
• English book / work

Follow Up

Following the initial meeting, I will suggest a plan of action with targets / monitoring points. For work online it would be useful for the student to have a Showbie account.
